A multi-genre entertainment and comic convention: it’s not just comic books and sci-fi/fantasy-related films and television. This convention includes pop culture and entertainment elements spanning virtually all genres, including Horror, Animation, Anime, Manga, Toys, Action Figures, Collectible Card Games, Video Games, Webcomics, Fantasy Novels, and more!

From the silver screen to the comic book page, birds have soared into our pop culture consciousness, captivating audiences with their unique characteristics and symbolism. Just like Spa-Con, birds cross into every and all genres of pop-culture and science fiction. From superheroes like Robin and Raven to the Hitchcock classic "Birds", feathered friends and foes seem to be around everywhere we go. Spa-Con's poster design set out to highlight a few of our favorite birds including: a raven (Teen Titans), an owl (Court of Owls, Nite Owl, & Harry Potter), a robin (Batman & Robin), a penguin, (The Penguin), and a falcon (Captain America) while also representing the beautiful city of Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas.
